Dying at the Table

Its nice and comfy in St Raphael. We have been eating, walking, eating, going to the beach, eating, talking, then eating again. Henri, our host, makes sure to keep us well fed. He says that the French eat so much they die at the table. We have exactly a month to go so hopefully we can survive our stay in France without stretching our stomacs too much!

There are plenty of tourists here, and its sure that there will be more coming for the national holiday (Bastille Day) on the 14th. We have seen some fireworks (There will be more on the 14th), and a pretty nightmarket. We have of course eaten some good food and gone to a nice beach. We have had lots of long conversations with Henri as well.

We will be leaving early on the 15th for a one night stay in Milano. Then we have booked our stay in Munich (very hard to find and expensive), where we will daytrip to Salzburg and Neuschwenstein and some other locations. Then it will be off to Vienna. We are really looking forward to exploring Germany and Austria!

Time for bed.
