Hello everybody.
So we are leaving Athens and going to the island of Santorini tomorrow morning. While booking our hostel there we had some guys who were at the computer beside us who are taking the same boat and going to the same place so it sounds like it will be a popular place. According to the hostel guy here Santorini is the best place on Greece. We have chosen Santorini over the other islands because it apparently has nicer beaches and in order to cut costs and packing time we have decided to only go to one island on this trip (Sorry Janelle Corfu has been cut out although we hear it's number 2). Napflio and New Corinth have also been cut so we will go to Meteora after the island tour then b-line to Frankfurt!
We purchased a bunch of buns and cheese and vegetables for our trip and also a pack of turkey. We are currently refridgerating some items wrapped in a wet towel in the bathroom with the window open. I can't shake dad's train to Vancouver story out of my head but hopefully it will all be consumed by tomorrow night so no surprises.
Anyways time to pack!

Santorini is a great place to see but expect a long ferry ride there. I spent a week there in 1990 and had new things to discover every day. Wear your sandals on the black sand beaches though!

It's ok if you don't visit Corfu. Crete is where I want to live ;) No worries though too many islands, they get confusing, I know. Loved hearing about your creative fridge :)

Have mega fun on Santorini and don't be afraid to toss the turkey if it gets green and slimy!!! Could be lucky pigeon P___!
It's wise to unburden yourselves in Frankfurt so you can travel light and carefree.
